Unleash the Gamer to Sponsor its first Gaming Tournament
January 18, 2019

W e are happy to announce that Unleash the Gamer will be sponsoring a Dota 2, League of Legends, and Hearthstone LAN tournament organized by SSIG (The Secret Society for Gamer Girl Lovers).

SSIG is the largest Romanian community for variety games, amassing over 30,000 members on its Facebook page and group. The community is managed by a non-profit organization, whose main purpose is to encourage gamers to socialize online, as well as offline. The NGO also offers emotional support to members struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, or loneliness.

The “Magnumutz Cup” is orgazed in two stages:

  • ONLINE ROUND (February 1 – 14, 2019) – This knock-out round will decide the 16 finalists that will face each-other in the final stage.
  • OFFLINE ROUND (February 16, 2019) – The final stage will take place at the IDM Esports gaming club.

The tournament is open, not only to participants, but also to those that want to socialize or watch the games with friends.

Finalists have a chance to win the Magnumutz Cup, gaming peripherals from Trust, money prizes, customized T-shirts, and exclusive collectibles. Viewers and knocked-out participants can also win random prizes offered by the sponsors.

The second stage of the tournament will be casted by popular Romanian streamers and casters:

You can find out more about the tournament by visiting the official announcement. Tournament rules and specific game information is also available on the Battlefy platform:

  1. League of Legends Tournament Rules,
  2. Dota 2 Tournament Rules,
  3. Hearthstone Tournament Rules.

Tournament hours will be announced shortly!

We hope to sponsor more gaming events in the future. If you have an interesting tournament coming up, and are looking for support, don’t hesitate to contact us! We’d love to get more involved in the gaming scene.

PC gamer since I was 7. Back then, the only way to install games was from floppy disks (if you were lucky enough to have friends) or Level Magazines. Nowadays, I find happiness in single-player, story-driven games and experiences that I can share with my community. I also cosplay or create unique looks on occasion. If you want to learn more, you can follow me on Twitch.

PC gamer since I was 7. Back then, the only way to install games was from floppy disks (if you were lucky enough to have friends) or Level Magazines. Even as an adult, my passion for gaming is still going strong. In 2016 I relinquished my casual ways and started playing a game that would define me forever: Dark Souls 1. My Twitch channel was born out of the simple desire to show one of my friends (a Soulsboune lover) how miserably I could fail at it.

Nowadays, I find happiness in single-player, story-driven games and experiences that I can share with my community. I also cosplay or create unique looks on occasion. If you want to learn more, you can follow me on TwitchTwitter, or Facebook
