Eltimar will guide you through the difficult encounter with Radeka the Witch in the rotten, corpse-filled Cave.
Fort Joy – Radeka’s Cave
Step 1
Step 2
In this truly gore-soaked room you will find the Witch Radeka. She will be standing over the body of someone named Medat and, judging by the sheer amount of bones and viscera around the area, she has been murdering here for quite some time. Spoilers… you should prepare for a fight before speaking to the murder witch.
Once you get closer to her, she will speak with you. She is shockingly charismatic, although she reeks of death. If you have Ifan in your group she will say something in a fell language that he recognizes and he identifies her as a member of the Black Ring. She infers that you are in the death cave for the same reason that she is, and pats the black roses she pocketed when you approached.
You can definitely flirt with her and move towards some intimate action. If you kiss her she will definitely shove flies down your throat, which, for the record, is not cool during a makeout session. This should be pretty high up on your list of “things not to do” while kissing someone.
She will then ask if you know why the soil in this place is so fertile and special. She tells you that the corpses allow blood roses to grow. She will then engage you in combat. There is no way to leave this conversation without fighting her… and I did warn you to prepare for a fight.
She has some pretty powerful magic at her disposal, but the real annoyance in this fight is the Carrion Beetles. They have a strong ranged attack and are pretty fast, making closing with them to attack pretty annoying. Once you have cleared out the room, loot the bodies. The most important items to grab are the Blood Rose and the Purging Wand.
